Originally from the San Francisco bay area, Jason Mahan moved to Oregon in 1997 to attend college at Southern Oregon University.
Jason Mahan graduated in 1999 from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business.
Jason obtained his law degree from the University of Oregon in 2002.
Jason moved to Roseburg in 2003 when he began working as a prosecutor for the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.
In 2007, Jason left the District Attorney’s Office to open his own law practice where he focused primarily on criminal defense.
In 2010, Jason joined our firm as an associate and was made partner on January 1, 2012. His practice areas are criminal defense, guardianships, conservatorships, and personal injury claims.
Due to his time as a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, Jason has significant experience in trying cases before Douglas County juries.
Jason is married to Tracy Mahan and they live in Roseburg, Oregon with their two daughters Sophia and Abby. When Jason is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and fly fishing on Oregon’s rivers.
