Ryan W. Podlesnik attended the University of Wyoming. He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science in 2006, and he obtained his Law Degree in 2009.
While he was enrolled in the University of Wyoming College of Law, he was employed as a federal deputy law clerk in the U.S. District Court of Wyoming in Yellowstone National Park in 2007.
In 2008, he was employed as an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Yellowstone National Park.
Ryan was selected to be a member of the University of Wyoming’s Trial Team after a local competition and he alter competed in the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition in Seattle.
While in law school, Ryan successfully brined and argued a case before the Wyoming Supreme Court and he earned an Excellence in Advocacy Award for demonstrating superior abilities in the preparation and presentation of both written and oral arguments.
Ryan moved to Oregon because of the excellent fishing opportunities our State provides. In 2010 Ryan moved to Roseburg, Oregon and began working at the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office. As a deputy district attorney, Ryan litigated a wide variety of criminal cases.
In 2014, Ryan was promoted to the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team and he additionally served as the criminal and civil Forfeiture counsel. Ryan left the District Attorney’s Office in October of 2015 and joined our firm.
In our firm, Ryan handles estate planning, probate and criminal defense, as well as personal injury cases. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Tiffany.
